I voted for him in his current position, but he's too extreme to get elected on the national level. I did not vote for him in the primaries though, I went for David Dewhurt (Lt. Gov. of TX at the time) instead. The Hispanic background could work to his advantage if he plays it properly.

I think he's electable. The liberal left has done a great job of moving the goal post so far left that anybody with brains and common sense will seem extreme now.

He's too far right. He's announcing his run at Liberty University, which was founded by Jerry Falwell. Falwell, blames 9/11 on homosexuals. That's the type of crazy a candidate should stay away from.

If he was president, I could imagine him commissioning NASA to make a trip to heaven.

I'm ready for "too far right". We need a hard kick to the right as a country to get back to center.

I seriously doubt Cruz blames homossexuals for 911, no matter what Falwell thinks. It's going to be very entertaining to watch the left talk about this kind of stuff to try and bring him down while giving Obama a pass all these years for his known associations. Pot call kettle black.

Although that was funny, at least he wouldn't use NASA for Muslim public relations. That worked so well for Obamanation.

If you're looking for someone on the Tea Party end of the spectrum, I think Marco Rubio would have a much better chance than Cruz ever would. I can't stand how Cruz handles himself. I'd bet every registered liberal voter would rush to the polls to vote against him. Rubio can at least handle himself well and can put on respectable disposition IMO.

There are several as a team could pull off a win. Cruz, Rubio, Paul, Walker, any of those four in any team could win. I personaly like Scott Walker a lot.

Don't be so sure about that. The golden bitch ain't looking too good right now and Warren is too scary even for the Dems, let alone the independents who are looking for somebody with principles who isn't afraid to call out big O on his failed policies of which there are many.

Where did I complain? I just made a valid point. I'd rather foreign investors buy it and potentially get the houses back to habitable condition (or demo them and hold as investment land) than them turn into gang/drug/sex dens. Part of the agreement when you buy these properties is that you get any back taxes current which Detroit is obviously desperately in need of.

Honestly, i dont think Hillery will run. she would likely win if she did. but i dont think she will.
Which failed policies are you speaking to? I find it funny how you would use a general statement like that without any specifics. There have been a lot of things that this administration has done very well. The ACA is the first this country has seen, and is working. But like every big change you will get lots of people whining.
I would rather have a person in office that actually cares about the People of this country and working policies that help the People and not just corporations. Conservatives have yet to connect with the people of this country which is their main downfall every primary election. (midterms done count because voter turnout is a fraction of what they are during the primaries. I think it would be actually great if they did away with midterms and just had all of the voting on primary election days just to give the best turnouts)
