We will be allowing all "modern" domestics, this essentially means any domestic that came with factory fuel injection can run...

That sounds like sort of a nightmare to try and class those fairly against imports.
You'd need a second set of rules for each category, I think, one for imports and the 2nd for domestics.

Re: PG 2013 - Can we get some love here?
If the rule for a class says only 4 cylinder cars, then it isn't that hard, there doesn't need to be special rules for a 4 cylinder Cavalier vs a Honda. In Nate's rules, only the Outlaw class allowed 8 cylinder cars and their were some rules for max displacement, tire sizes, and turbo size limits.

Agreed. Perhaps a displacement modifier would work such as Forced Induction = your displacement*2. Max adjusted displacement of 7600 cc or the like.
Having attended every PG from the start, I think I can state without fear of contradiction, that a vast majority of the imports that compete in the drag would get their lunch eaten by a properly sorted V8 on tires, if this went down straight up.

Re: PG 2013 - Can we get some love here?
Slick size should be 26" that seems to be a common height, not 25".

Re: PG 2013 - Can we get some love here?
Outlaw says 26". 25" limit is probably to keep people from running 26" slicks. 24.5" slicks are commonly used and often the limit for many import race classes.

Most Hondas that race follow other classes like IFO, WCF, and National events and with a 67mm or smaller turbo they have max tire of 25". I'd bet that 99% of DSM's dont run slicks that have a 67mm or smaller turbo!
IE hoosior QTP, M&H cheaters slicks, ET streets, and other drag radials (DOT tire) are not slicks.

No, I'm saying I don't give a shit what they can fit on economy cars, and DSMs like tall tires for gearing and I don't care to spend money on a smaller slick.

You could say the same thing about honda's with a nice broad statement like that.
But actually most of the decent cars i see on slicks are on 14bs, 16gs, 3052s and now 35R/62mm setups with a few on 67mms now and of course the legendary GT42RRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Re: PG 2013 - Can we get some love here?
Would a 62.99mm turbo still qualify as 62.9 max?

I guess you just dont see the point......
I think the rules are fair for fwd/awd/rwd cars and will keep the classes close and conpetative!
If these were the rules simply move up to a class that allows 26" slicks if that's what you run.

Aren't DSMs considered "economy race cars" ?

Re: PG 2013 - Can we get some love here?
I don't think much will change from last year, other than adding modern muscle classes and rules. Plus setting up some sort of import vs. domestic just for fun.
