I got one for my evo for about half of it and I must say it wasn't bad at all until I bought a house, then I really hated life and the fact that I had a mortgage and evo payment.

If you can get away without one that is ideal. If I could go back I would've saved more and paid more up front for lower payments but I don't think a car loan is the end of the world. I am finishing off the evo loan in a few weeks and not getting another car loan anytime soon, that will feel great.

Oh I'll definitely have a car paid off before I buy a house. I just started a 14 month lease and I don't plan to have a car payment by the time I move outa here
