97 GSX/ Borg s259 ett/ e73 dyno results
Finally got her on the dyno and not one thing went wrong!!! My e85 was tested and it turned out to be e73. Would have made my goal of 500 awhp but the clutch was slipping since it is not broke in yet. But in all I was very happy with the results!!! Enjoy!!!
480 awhp/ 375 ft lbs
Made 561 awhp on the dyno jet setting.

Full mod list please! Glad it worked out for ya, your car looks like it's running great!
Pffft, 480 is weak souce...
...my X made 481
Seriously though, congrats! Hopefully the clutch is alright after all that beating, get it fully broken in and go have some fun with it! Looks like a really nice car!

That is some power curve! It doesn't fall off at all. Must be super fun!

Here is the dyno sheet, it wouldn't let me post it last night for some reason but here it is.

I don't see dyno sheet. Looks like great power for a pretty basic setup. What did it take to get the IX pistons onto the 6-bolt rods?

It was at 30 psi and it is the same modification to the rods to get the 2g pistons on the 6 bolt rods.
Here is the dyno sheet, wouldn't let me upload it before.

Very nice man. I'm about to pick up a S256. I'm shooting for about 450.

Maybe Shane can chime in, but that appears to spool similar to a 35r sized turbo.
That powerband is sweet congrats man, go run some 10s!!

Re: 97 GSX/ Borg s259 ett/ e73 dyno results
Ya it may be a little slower than usual due to the t4 housing it is in, it's in a .84 AR divided t4 housing. Don't ask me why but the previous owner had it made for it.

Re: 97 GSX/ Borg s259 ett/ e73 dyno results
Ya it does suck but I guess I know the housing wont choke the turbo down. I am also thinking about swapping an HX40 pro with a divided t4 housing and see how they compare.

I was thinking about this and found an old dyno plot from shane/mara's 'project salt collector'
http://www.mitsustyle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18245
Overlay shows mara's SC61 outspooling this thing but the BW turbo kicks butt up top!
