This was a careful decision. One, the car would probably run e85, mitigating the need for the FMIC, but still need the flow of a nice SMIC. Two, 1G's don't have the radiator openings over the FMIC that evos do, and this will keep the radiator nice and airflow-happy.

I'd consider a thin ETS FMIC like Halon did though, just because FMICs look cool
