That along with an older evo front LSD would be sick in a 1g DSM....a clutch type center diff would do wonders as well, but we're talkin close to 3k for all 3.

Isn't there a slight gearing difference in the Evo III diff vs. the DSM diff?

Some evo's came with the viscous like dsm's have. Others had the clutch type from the factory. I'm not sure which models got which, however.

There is, I need to get a hold of TRE just to verify the information on their site and what I've read on other boards. But that rear diff with a 12-plate max-lock for under a grand seems like a hell of a good deal.

It would: for long term goals I was thinking Quaife ATB front LSD, Cusco 35/65 front to rear torque split with VC elmin, + this rear diff.

Run around 5k for the whole setup, but it would radically change the dynamics of the vehicle. Very tempting...
