This intake was 'inspired' by the AMS 3" intake. They do roll the BOV pipe since it's going to be hit by blasts of air that needs to be recirc'ed and that blast will be in the direction that could blow the hose off.
I'm in the process of switching to t-bolts so I'd imagine it'll stay on but in general I'd recommend it.
I don't really see the need for it on the air filter pipe. If there was a rush of air inward then it'd just seat it better, not take it off.
