This is seriously the best lesson to learn when dealing with any vendor. If there is a problem, bring it to their attention and work it through until you're at least somewhat satisfied with the solution. It is so often that problems/issues are brought up months/years after the fact and the vendor knew nothing of it before that point. Passive-aggressive posts online solve nothing, face-to-face meetings solve lots.

Well, the transmission prior to this one turned all four wheels, and the one after it did also.

How did you check that only the front wheels where moving..... Because i was just out in my garage, currently my car has only the front wheels up in the air. and the car is in 1st gear, The front tires will rotate. Granted one wheel is going one direction and the other going the opposite direction. Which is normal for our cars. Im really hoping this wasnt the way you checked that only the front tires were rotating.
Did you put the car in the air on all four jackstands and put the car in gear while running? Did you put it on an AWD Dyno? Did you do a smokey burnout? Were you sure the Tcase wasnt messed up?
A little description of how you came to the conclusion that the tranny was messed would be helpful in this situation.
I put the all four corners of the car on jackstands, put the car in 1st and gave it gas. Only the front wheels turned. Like I said, the previous tranny turned all four, and the one after that did also. That is how I know the tranny was the culprit. On a second gear pull it would break loose and torque steer just like a FWD car also, I didn't have nearly enough power at the time to be able to do that with AWD. (250HP, 250 TQ at the time)

Yep, sitting in the garage at my Parent's place in Isanti. After all of this, I kinda want to dig into it this weekend if I get a chance.

We did try to work it out at the time, this isn't the first it's been talked about. This thread came up in a "feedback" kind of format, so I gave my feedback, that is all.

Really glad to hear you didnt just have the Fronts up. But it would be really interesting to see what the culprit is.
Have you driven the car since taking out the tranny? Also were you sure the Tcase was good? (which hopefully you will soon find out if havent already when you put the TRE trans in)
I know this seems off topic trying to figure out what happened to your tranny. but it would be very interesting to find out the true fault of something like this, instead of saying "This is broke so it MUST be the vendors fault."

Have I driven it since this tranny? yes. First thing I did was put it on jackstands and see if all four wheels moved. haha And they did move.
