Running the Tephra v7 88591715 speed density rom that I built, a new friend of mine diiirk @ AWDmotorsports down in florida tuned their bastard shop car past the limit of the omni 4-bar map sensor they're running (biggest map sensor currently supported on stock ecu) 46psi. At ~35psi at *eleven* degrees of timing up top, the car made 700 last friday. I jokingly told him that he better hit 850 or I wasn't helping him anymore, and they hit that on Monday with 42psi (limit of the sensor)...then last night, around 6 they had been pushing past the limit of the sensor (still reasonable timing though) and bumped it up for an epic 901whp.
These guys are taking the car to the track today. I'm trying to get working numbers together for the aem 5-bar map sensor so it can safely run the 50psi they want. All of this on the STOCK ECU!
Hopefully they can get a few clean passes in. This is the same car that ran 10.3 with a BBK on the 2.4, missing gears, and 9.3 with a black, so the setup is somewhat shaken down, but now on the 2.0...we'll see what happens!

BTW, this is on E85 from a regular pump near their shop.
Once the AEM 5-bar is working, they'll be swapping out the cossie cams (moderatly aggressive) for FP 5R's (very aggressive). I can't believe that this thing still has more in it! 950 anyone?

Mike at AWD was telling me about this the other day, and I jokingly told him to sign up on here, and post up the numbers, taking the new stock ecu record away from MAP. He laughed.

Woohoo! Thats awesome! How does it feel to be apart of this accomplishment scheides?
I said this on evomn too, I feel more like a cheerleader than anything! I'm not the one wrenching, tuning, or driving this thing when it comes down to it. I just want to see this thing make as much power and go as fast as possible!
Also! I helped diiirk out today dialing in the aem 5-bar map sensor. There were no previous scalings available for this for the stock ecu, so it took some time and trial, but in the end, the car made its first clean pull @ 25psi, making 530whp, then up to 700, 800, 840, 880, and finally resting back at 900, this time with 3 less psi, about 43psi...but this time with plenty of headroom on the MAP sensor! They're headed to the track in an hour so stay tuned!
They made one pull at 910whp, but the twin walbros are completely maxed out. Def gonna have to tweak some fueling for the next round.

And the Supra experts on Supraforums tell me you can't make over 700whp with twin Walbros on E85, even though I have made in the 800s multiple times without maxing the pumps.
I guess it all depends on the rest of the fuel system. IDK how they have this one setup, but it seems as though there are quite a few tricks to try on the evo to get quite a bit of flow out of them.

How much do you think 1650's and twin walbros would hold max?
