We really like it a lot so far. I know Houston is a lot hotter and more humid than Dallas, but we're really liking the Dallas area. The roads are great and not falling apart, the weather kicks ass, the houses and cost of living is a lot cheaper, people are friendlier, a lot wider variety in good restaurants, etc. The only thing thats kind of a pain are the tollways around our house, but its easy enough to avoid those it just takes a few extra minutes of driving.

Cheaper and friendlier then here? Interesting. Are you sure they arent trying to get you to join their church? Chris the Southern Baptist.

The difference is night and day; its the first thing we noticed in our trips down here and after moving.

hmm people are nicer down there too?? that would be a plus. the warmer weather and cheaper cost of living are what are starting to get me to agree to maybe move. we're going down there in the begining of january to visit her aunt so we'll see how I like it. thanks for the input!
the house looks great by the way!
