pics of my clutch breakage
Ever seen a finger break off of a clutch? Neither have i.
ACT 2600, 10k miles, zero track time and maybe 2 hard launches.

How long have they been putting that raised oval bit in? I don't remember that on older ones. I assume they do that for strength. But it seems like it might just make all the bending happen at the base of the finger instead of spread over the length of it, causing it to snap off like that.

Whoa, never seen that before. I've had my ACT clutch disc completely destroyed. When I popped off the PP, 10+ pieces fell out. Crazy stuff. Must've taken quite some force to brake off a teeth like that. wow.

My 2600 has this welded on oval piece I bought it from Elite back in 2003.

ACT called me back today.
They looked at the pressure plate and determined it was not broken due to abuse on my part, so they're sending me a new pressure plate today!
