I know act clutches are ok for dsm's but I just cant believe how terrable this clutch is for the evo. Im thinking of the competition clutch but how much power can these really hold up to, I need something that will hold up for over 400hp and 400tq.
I don't get it....do you have the same problem on the street? How did you not konw about this problem before hitting the drag strip.....does no one practice before they go?

Not really. I'm 99% sure Jim has the SAME clutch. He's making more power, he made 20+ runs down the drag strip this weekend and from what I hear, he had better than good results with it. TwinDiscs are NOT the end-all solution that people make them out to be, especially on a DD street car.

No sir, this requires breaking the laws. Unless the car is stock, can't be on it for long before exceeding the speed limit.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.
