Yeah, don't be embarrassed, at least it's not primer gray!

First thing you should probably do is ditch the 2G MAF and get at the very least an SAFC. While the 2G MAF works great for mixture (just a bit rich) with the 550s at WOT, at lower throttle position (and therefore less airflow) the signal has greater frequency differences from the 1G MAF, causing excess fuel to be added, to the point where it's possible to wash your cylinder walls with fuel.

Huh? 550s and 2G MAS work almost perfect at all loads. 1G MAS would be way worse and way richer at all loads.
