Nope, but I had something similar (Spoon X-brace) on my S2000 and if it can make a difference with that ultra-stiff chassis this should help with the Evo's chassis pretty nicely
I don't mind testing out unproven products that I feel will be of benefit. Even if it doesn't actually noticeably stiffen the chassis, at least I know it will help keep the car in shape over time. When Scheides installed his front motor mount it was noticed that his chassis is starting to deform with age and its fairly common on higher mileage S2k's for the X-braces to not fit. Also, it really won't be lowering ground clearance by much since this bar is replacing some thinner, weaker, stock bars. Besides, I just lifted the car .5" a few weeks ago
By biggest worry though is whether or not this bar will clear my Buschur 3" downpipe...we shall find out tomorrow evening!
