Re: This will definetly help our economy

Obama wants to get the census moved under the White House, never before has a president tried to do this.

If they have that much power over it they can easily manipulate the next election and the electoral states...

RLFebo, you sound like a socialist commie!

Maybe you should move to China where any protest isn't allowed, the government only tells you whatever they think you should know, getting rich by any means possible due to no regulations(including poisoning babies) is fine, the government has total control and can do whatever it wants or change the laws to fit it current needs, torture is fine, and only religions the gov likes are allowed. Oh wait, that's the current GOP's dream government.

So Im a socialist commie because I beleive moderation as opposed to make 30 million a year and let the workers under you starve? Hmmm, yeah I guess I should move to china.

I guess I just dont understand you extreme conservatives. Hell I just dont understand people in general anymore. I guess if your happy watching the rich get richer while you stay the same or get poorer then I guess Im the backwards one. Here I thought the american dream was to watch the rich get richer, and then catch up to the bastards and take their money in a coporate takeover.

Re: This will definetly help our economy

If we would of done more tax cuts for all classes that would of helped a whole hell of a lot more then just spending more money at one time than ever in the US history.

But no, everyone is going to be getting an extra 13 bucks a week back from the government with these "tax cuts". Who's lining up to get flat screens? LOL!

People need to realize that the rich create a lot of jobs believe it or not.

This bill was equal to giving every person in the WHOLE WORD a check for 1,300, or paying off of 90% of the US mortgages, exactly what caused all of this. But no, we will just spend it on 20 million for a rat for Liberal Nancy Palocis state, etc etc etc.

3 Republics total in both houses voted for this bill.

Edit - 92.5% of people pay their mortgages on time, we are just bailing out the 7-8% of irresponsible people and irresponsible banks that were forced into making those risky mortgages by Clinton. Most of those same people are driving new cars and what not. People need to realize nothing is going to last forever and have to live within their means in case they happen to lose their job.

Funny I didn't see any democrats sparing Bush.

Nope it's all his fault because he's a Nazi dictator. The current situation is all his fault and none of the blame lays on the dems.

Both sides are crooks and have thier own agendas in mind. They care nothing for the average citizen

Fuck yea. I saw old Bill down at Wells Fargo with a mortgage broker in a figure four leglock making him give a loan on a McMansion to some day trader. It had nothing to do with Phil Gram or banks forcing home appraisers to over value houses on purpose or somebodys own ignorance/need to keep up with the Jones'.

Ill agree on that last statement 1Quick4, they dont care about us. And I was never one to say Bush was a nazi, just a dumbass who didnt beleive in constitutional rights. Thats all.

and Dundars
Spend it on 20 million for rats for pelosi, or 50 million for Republican Sens. Orrin Hatch and Robert Bennett of utah. Its all covered under the same monies. And I hope your joking about the flat screens. Plus, who has a defaulted mortgage that you know, who has been forclosed on, and still drives a new car that they have a loan on? I know too many that dont. And the ones that do made sure not to lose their car. You can lose your house and live in an apartment, you cant lose your car. Cars arent a luxury anymore, they are a necessity.

RLfebo-

I have a close friend whose parents were just foreclosed on, they split up because of it. They both drive new/newer cars and are in new houses with big mortgages already.

What do you define as new/newer cars? Do they make payments on them? And how did they each manage to get a mortgage already, and what do you call a big mortgage, especially since you have to hold that up to what they were paying.

One is a 2005 Chevy Tahoe that I'm guessing isn't paid off, the other is a 2008 Acura MDX that for sure isn't paid off.

The wife is in a really new and nice detached town home that I would say is worth at least $250k+ in this market. I'm not sure exactly the fathers situation, haven't seen him since and I only know what he tells me.

Re: This will definetly help our economy

That doesnt seem all that remarkable. Given a decent income and those situations sound reasonable. They dont seem to have gotten hit the hardest. Ive seen the bad, and it doesnt turn out that way. Its where the bank takes your house, and car, and ruins your credit. And this being that the economy was doing well, the jobs were there and paying, and then the economy took a shit, and the people I seen get hit had nothing to do with risky mortgages, they were in their mortgages well before the housing crisis. So I still feel it wasnt the housing crisis that created the monster, it was the monster that created the housing crisis.

I'm not saying you needed to wait a year to pass it, but come on 2 or three more days to have time to read and review is not going to delay anything!

Democrats response to if they read the bill or not was, "Well I had my staff look over it for me and report back." Who the hell did we vote for, them or their "staff"?

Obama went from change and hope to depression and crisis in less than 20 days of being elected and got the bill passed within 30 days of being elected. That is CRAZYNESS!

EDIT - Not to mention Obama wants to give states more incentives to put more people on welfare. Yay for hard working Americans, where dreams come true!

Re: This will definetly help our economy

I forgot to mention, Obama is building a Fleet of Marine One Helicopters. By Fleet I mean 28, that is costing the tax payers 11.2 Billion Dollars.

Not to mention he wants a new Fleet of Air Force One 747's, and a new Fleet of Presidential Limos. Wonder what just his spending for new transportation for his four years is going to cost us Tax Payers.

Liberals sure are quick to spread and spend other people's money.

Read your sources, he's putting the helicopters on hold. But being that the helicopters are 30 years old, it is time for a new fleet.

And again, link to your sources on these accusations. Seems like you have a lot of hearsay.

Also I looked into the limo and I see no problem with him getting a fleet of tanks. He probably has a way higher assassination risk than bush ever faced.

Re: This will definetly help our economy

I realize that the helicopters were put on order by President Bush but McCain brought up the idea to put them on hold and Obama hasn't said he will yet, only that he will think about it.

Edit - I'm sure he will eventually put them on hold from pressure from the American people, but I guarentee if this wouldn't have been brought up he would of never considered putting them on hold.

Why do you think he has a higher assasination rate, because of his race? Pretty sure we have proved that racism is a thing of the past, his policies are what would get him assasinated.

Re: This will definetly help our economy

To claim that its only his policies that will get him assassinated is a very ignorant statement. Racism is far from dead. It also doesnt help that the ignorance of this nation still has him veiwed as a socialist, as well as a muslim, and a domestic terrorist.

I mean honestly, what is so bad about his policies. You are so against the stimulus package, what do you propose to jump start a defeated economy? If not the government trying to get its people to get back on their feet, then what?

No one has to pay taxes for 8-9 months, boom problem sovled.

Game over, Flip.

Government is going to have to own our banking systems for a while, never a good thing. That is the part of the road to Socialism.

Re: This will definetly help our economy

But if nobody pays in then how are all the red states going to get money? Since they by far get more money back from the federal government than they pay in, except for Texas that pays in slightly less than it gets back. Most of the red states are sucking on the teet of federal tax welfare and pork.
