Re: Hey, HEllo, hi
SLS street tuned (or do they have a dyno? I heard they were street tuning cars) versus 20g car?
Something smells off...welcome to the forum, nice mods list on both cars!

Re: Hey, HEllo, hi
Yeah, the 20g must be running like shit, the NA car *might* put down 200 whp, and that is probably quite optomistic. The 20g car should be in the high 200's with almost no effort. Too bad you didn't put all that money into the GST, you could have had a really fast car! They're your cars though, do what ever makes you happy! Welcome to the board, again

Re: Hey, HEllo, hi
I bet the gst just spun all through 1st 2nd and 3rd while the rs couldn't spin out and got traction and won.

Re: Hey, HEllo, hi
you have interesting prioritys... spending your money on the lowly N/A car gets you more respect than spending it on the better turbo car?

yea, its true... but what i havn't said yet could change minds....even lives.....jk, but seriously, yea, i bolted on the 20g, and ran at 5lbs, until the cams set, and broke in, at 5, the n/a car was quicker, and yea, the gst dont grip at all... my n/a juiced car is alot quicker than people think tho, umm as far as the fattness on that n/a car.... it has none, it is sooo light, that also helps alot.... but when spring comes round again, the gst might be able to impress more than just a few people...

If a 20g GST is slower than a 420A then the GST has some issues. Point proven that bolting on parts doesn't make it a solid car. Time to have a shop that knows what they're doing take a look at the GST.

yea, the car did run like crap when it ran, btw, i have never modded the GST at all anyways, i had it and drove it for a few months before it broke... so yea thats the story with that, but i do plan on finishing building it up, and hopefully making it a quick daily driver...
