you could also heat wrap the mani and downpipe. It helps to reduce engine temps. I think you could even get heat wrap at checker or some place to that extent.

Mark (TKR) could chime in on this if he wants, but he just had a DNP mani crack because it was wrapped. I thought I remembered him saying something that DNP advises against wrapping them for that specific reason.
