No offense Curt but I have to agree with Shane, suburban sprawl and asphalt is a bit depressing I must say. I sure miss the meets at the lake and park.
I don't know the first thing that goes into planning an event, just hoping future events are somewhere else.

Hmm, I'm a little surprised at this. I had at least 20 people tell me last year how much they liked having it in a parking lot as opposed to grass like at the museum. Its much easier to organize the cars.
Its also a lot harder to have it at a park and guarantee parking for 150+ cars and have electricitiy. Most parks, if you rent the shelter, there is no guarantee on the parking spots. If you want to walk around when you are at the Cookout, there is a park right behind the Middle School.
With the great responses I got last year having it at the Middle School, we'll be having it at a school for many years to come.
later,
Curt

So be it, as long as the people and cars have a place to get together I'll be there.

I feel the parking lot was an upgrade to the grassy lot, and you have good points.

Re: All Mitsu Cookout -- August 26, 2007 -- Rogers, MN
Hey everyone,
I received a bunch of prizes from Corporate Mitsubishi last week. Got some t-shirts, hats, a big cooler, and some smaller items.
Sign ups are looking good. I just updated the page. We've got 74 signed up so far: http://www.mn3s.org/cookout-list.html
And don't forget to hand out a flyer when ever you come across a nice Mitsu. They really do help spread the word.
Thanks,
Curt
