In Braveheart they could have made the warriors from other countries some sort of sci-fi beast but they didn't, and that is one of the best movies ever made.

From the first time I saw a preview, I decided I had no interest in a movie that was going to depict Muslims in this manner. But now with all the hype and talk of the Iranians uproar, I have to see it in full just to know what the hell I'm talking about.
I can see where you are coming from, but didnt this battle occur over a thousand years before Muslims came to be? I for one never associated Muslims with the Persians in this movie. Nor do I really associate middle-easterners with the "monsters" depicted.
