I am not overly sensitive but if they want to depict the amazing story of the "300", at least do it in a reasonable manner. You could easily show the dramatic nature of what happened there without making the Persians look like freakshows. Just show that they came on hard, but these "300" were still able to hold them off for a decent amount of time. In Braveheart they could have made the warriors from other countries some sort of sci-fi beast but they didn't, and that is one of the best movies ever made.
From the first time I saw a preview, I decided I had no interest in a movie that was going to depict Muslims in this manner. But now with all the hype and talk of the Iranians uproar, I have to see it in full just to know what the hell I'm talking about.

I can see where you are coming from, but didnt this battle occur over a thousand years before Muslims came to be? I for one never associated Muslims with the Persians in this movie. Nor do I really associate middle-easterners with the "monsters" depicted.
