Re: Buschur & Forced Performance: new stock appearing evo turbo!
Looks like this new turbo is flow rated at 46 lbs/min, just a little bigger than a standard old-school 20G. Still looks like fun to use on the street!

You know the stocker is like 42-ish lb/min . I just don't really see it worth it for the money.

Did you miss the part about Forced Performance producing the turbo for Buschur? Have your inside sources told you what Buschur's profit margin is?

Re: Buschur & Forced Performance: new stock appearing evo turbo!
Damn, 450 hp/450 tq and a 10.8 sec pass?! Is that normal?
I love Evo's, but unfortunately I doubt I will ever get one. Too much for insurance. I think the 1g is just going to have to get built good and when I get ready for a new car I am going with a 95-99 BMW 325i .

Why not the M3 for better looks, handling, power, etc?

Re: Buschur & Forced Performance: new stock appearing evo turbo!
Boost is addictive!
Driving and riding in Scheides EVO gives me a feeling I haven't felt since owning my white Talon. I love my S2k, but it sucks storing it almost half the year. I want something I can enjoy year-round and have fun the whole while.

Re: Buschur & Forced Performance: new stock appearing evo turbo!
^^ Agreed! The evo just opened up all those dsm memories. haha
Ive been up in the air about having just 1 nice year round car since before I sold my GSX, and thought I was going to drive the M in the winter but just couldnt do it. So now im back at that feeling of wanting something as a year round daily driver. There are other options... but the evo would be the best logical choice.

Re: Buschur & Forced Performance: new stock appearing evo turbo!
Next Tuesday, I'll give you sallies a ride in the 6. That should push you to an EVO even more.

How about I give you a ride in your MS6 so you can see what that thing can really do?

Re: Buschur & Forced Performance: new stock appearing evo turbo!
Of the cars Peter listed I also like and would consider the E46 M3, G35, and STi. I dunno, I think if I do anything though it'll be the EVO.

Four doors, cheaper, and cheaper on insurance. I have a 2 door Cavy, I think I am going to go 4 door from now on. Its nice sometimes, but I think I would like 4 doors for any DD. It wouldnt need to be super fast, it would just be a DD though I would do a little bit for some extra pep. Suspension would definately have to happen, I like good handling in a DD. Are there any differences looks wise M3 to 325i other than the doors?
Peter, I'll trade you for my Cavy. Its white, 2001, manual, lowered ~2-2.25", 17's (and stock set), pretty decent sound system, 36k miles, and a pretty straight body. Huh, huh, what do you say?

M3's came in 4 doors in 97-98 I believe Looks wise, all M3s have a different front bumper, side skirts and rear bumpers with diffusers compared to the regular 3 series cars. Suspension components, engine, interior are all upgraded for the M models. A 325i would still be a great daily driver though, and it would be alot cheaper.
No trades unless its an evo
