Need help finishing car for this weekend
I am trying to get my girlfriend's car running and raceable for this weekend. If anyone has a lot of time Tuesday and Wednesday night to help and knows what they are doing, then let me know.
I am going to try to a working tranny together Tuesday night. Otherwise, it needs a FMIC put on, rear shocks and springs installed, brakes bled, new front axle cv boots, and motor/tranny installed.

Cudvig, I will be working at night.

Re: Need help finishing car for this weekend
Getting the tranny together has been the biggest pain. Her's is a 94, which is different than the 90-93 and somewhat different than the 95-99. Cher screwed up her case, which has turned into a major problem, since her rails don't fit right into an earlier case, which we have a few of. And the shifter stuff is slightly different on the 2G cases, which I don't have extras sitting around, even though I did run my 99 tranny in her car at one time, so it can be made to work.

Re: Need help finishing car for this weekend
If the transmission case is the problem, I have a case that would probably work. I got a tranny from mike that was supposed to be a dsm replacement but the numbers are different so I an not sure what it is. It could be a jdm dsm, Expo? or maybe something else, but it looks the same. It looks exactly like my 95 did and has the same spline count.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.

Which day do you plan on going? I am planning one of the 2 days this weekend for sure but it would be nice to see some familiar faces up there.
Edit: Well I guess I figured that out... Let me know if you need help with anything on friday Shane.

Re: Need help finishing car for this weekend
No problem, I needed to bust my knuckles working on a 1G. It's been awhile!
I checked out that radiator and it is indeed F'd up. It has a crack on one of the tubes. Sorry man.
