I don't think I need to comment my modlist on this site but I will on the other forums. Unless you want me to Chris.

Re: MAP's Evo X Exhaust Manifold Testing / Dyno Results
550whp DD tune that's so legit!
Great results, thank you for sharing! Boost curves look closer than dave had described, that is definitely a key aspect to this kind of testing. Dave sent me a bunch of the logs and timing looked identical across the first round he sent, I have yet to review the second round.
Pumped to see the MAP Rev2 tubular mani make its way into production, and as always more data is good data imho.

Re: MAP's Evo X Exhaust Manifold Testing / Dyno Results
^Like I said the boost curves I posted were just one run randomly from each to give an idea. There were definitely runs where boost was much closer.

Re: MAP's Evo X Exhaust Manifold Testing / Dyno Results
I assume FID and MAP are having a little manifold spat by the sounds of things...
What happened there?

Re: MAP's Evo X Exhaust Manifold Testing / Dyno Results
FiD posted Scheides' manifold testing results all over EvoM.

Re: MAP's Evo X Exhaust Manifold Testing / Dyno Results
Scheides posted some, but FID posted all the results that Scheides didn't really plan to post where they upped the boost and what not.
I am guessing that is what Kracka meant.

Re: MAP's Evo X Exhaust Manifold Testing / Dyno Results
Yea, we upped it a psi or two to try to match the psi that the car was running with the MAP exhaust manifold. That was after running it with no changes and it dropped a little bit of boost.

Which is another way to do the testing.
I don't think there is anything wrong personally with either way the testing was done.
I will say that if we tried to match boost on some of these manifolds the long runner from MAP would seem to come out on top as it dropped the most boost, but who knows.
One could go crazy trying to run the "perfect test". I don't think there is a perfect way to do it.

Re: MAP's Evo X Exhaust Manifold Testing / Dyno Results
It's going to be different from one car to another also. It's been known that a halfway decent tubular manifold is worth 30-50whp over a typical cast style manifold for 5+ years though. It's been proven on Hondas, 240s, DSMs, etc.

Among about another 10 threads FiD posted in and/or started which were all deleted shortly thereafter.
