So if it weren't powered then it wouldn't back-flow? If that's the case then I could install one in the second pump position and the hanger should operate okay as a single-pump setup...temporarily.
If I hear from Shane that the pump swap didn't help then I'm leaning toward installing a Hobbs switch setup.
