tranny help
hello,
here is my delemma any help would be awesome
I tore the tranny down and had to wait 3 weeks for a 3/4 rail so now I forgot how the reverse gear goes back together. It seems wierd to me that the piece that conects to the 5/r rail and engages the secondary gear (I'm not sure what it is called but its the gear thats by itself on its own shaft between the two primary shafts.) but that piece that moves that gear is not pinned onto the rail, there is no hole in the rail for a pin and I am stumped.
is the rail not supposed to be pinned? can you give me an idea on this or point me twards a website with a diagram.
