Sleep Per Night Average

I'm just curious what ya'll have for sleep habits. I like to get 7-8 hours/night on the average. Since this semester started that has dropped to 5-6 hours/night and it is kicking my ass. I know that a lot of you survive on a lot less sleep than that and damn I wish I could do it. I usually have at least one pop during the day and potentially a cup of coffee or mocha. I try to not drink any caffeine after 3 and then drink water for the rest of the day. I read somewhere a few weeks back that for the average person, drinking caffeine after 3 should be kept to an absolute minimum to help out with getting the best night sleep possible.

I'm lucky enough to have a job where I can pretty much come and go as I please.... but I would say on average it's 6-8 for me durring the week, then 8 or more on the weekends.

Anwhere between 4 and 8, but I generally try to get at least 6. Sometimes it seems when I sleep more I get tired quicker.

I only get around 2 hours or so which is a problem considering I really do need my beauty sleep.

Re: Sleep Per Night Average

I get at least 6 hours of sleep always, sometimes 8. I stopped drinking caffeine a couple months ago except for the rare occasion if I drink tea, and I noticed that I am quite often extremely tired in the afternoon. Sometimes I'll go home after work and fall right to sleep, sometimes for an hour or even sleeping till 11pm then being awake for another 2 or 3 hours before heading back to bed.

I too have been cutting back my caffine intake, and let me tell you I'm not seeing the benefits. Although loosing weight, I feel tired and groggy all the time. Screw it, I'm getting a Cube of Dew.

If caffeine didn't make my chest feel like it's going to explode I too would indulge in some caffeine.

Coke, Mt. Dew, etc. contain a lot of calories.

4-6. School at 8, usually go straight to work. Get home at 8:30 where I usually relax for an hour and start my homework/study. I usually go to bed at midnight or so and get up at 5:45 or whenever someone wakes me up (if before my alarm).
