Strut Question

I am now in the market for new shocks. I was looking at the AGX for 2G because I heard that KYB fixed the problem with the 2G shocks. Is this true? If it is true, does anyone have experience with the revised shocks on a 2G AWD?

Also, are there any spring sets out there that lower around 1.3" other than the Prokits?
