I had an ACT 2900, but was not cranked about the pedal pressure. My left knee is messed up a bit from a motorcycle racing accident. The twin disk is lighter pedal pressure than a 2600 by a ways and will hold more power than an ACT 3200.

Man, it only took me 2x to do my tranny, what's your problem man!?!?! ;)

Mine was a flywheel resurfacing issue, it was a *bit* off of the .610 requested...by about .200...

Twin disk = more friction surfaces. Sort of like an automatic tranny. The more
friction / steel plates you have, the better the grab is because of the multiplied friction surface.

Yep, similar to a top fueler setup. They must have around 4 or 5 disks in theirs though.

Top fuel uses up to 6, that is a slipper clutch though, not to useful on the street. The twin disk is a good set up for people trying to make over 600whp.

Almost all motorcycles use a 6 plate setup.

Well, it took me 45 min and the tranny is ready to come out. Gonna grab some grub and go yank it out!

Well, I have some more news....

IT RUNS!!! YAY!!

Now I just have to put the axles back in, T-case on, fill the tranny and T-case fluid, and pop the wheels on! Unfortunately I won't be able to do it tomorrow as I have class, but I should get to drive it on Thurs! I am pumped!!
