Great choice. Nothing can beat a bbc with a big old cam. Plus n/a motors are pretty reliable and constant. Throw some spray on it and shit gets real. That thing should be in the 9s on motor if you can set up right. Please post a video when you get it running.

It was a hard decision not to go that route. My biggest concern was about adding weight to the front end (turbos, heavy manifolds, intercooler, piping, etc.). Right now I'm at 56/44 split to the front. Any more weight that shifts the balance to a heavier front end would only make it harder to hook up.
Hook at the line hard enough and you'll get all the weight on the rear tires. ;)

That must happen first,.......

4-link set-ups like a 55/45 split at minimum, so it's already a little nose heavy. Hoping those aluminum heads pull a little off the front weight, normally they would knock off about 70lbs, but that Dart block throws some back in the mix.
