Well you all will be happy to know I decided on the 17x9+35. Rims.
I ordered up my tires (didn't go with RE71). My brother said tire rack is having a close out sale on falken azenis 615k.... so I got 255/40/17 ordered up.
I would have bought my rpf1.. but after 2hrs of messing around and searching for cars that 17x9 +35 fit (everyone that said they did, tirerack would say they have no product that fits, or it would change the size to something other then 17x9.
So I'll find some other avenue for those. Probably amazon as I also want to get a TPMS system also.

That a 95-96 talon. He saI'd he had to use a spacer for the rears to get them to fit.
But the 97-97 buckles have more room. And several people have said they have them and they clear with put spacers

I had some RPF1's back on my old 99 I had but they were only 17x8 +35 with 235/45 tires but I don't remember anything being close. Guess your setup is going to be wider but that'll look awesome! RPF1's look great on 2g's!

I have 18x8 on there now with 235'sand there is lots room. With that said though.
My 255's showed up on monday. And they look huge in comparison to my 235's.. I can't even imagine what a 285 tire would have looked like (someday I will, if all goes well with the road racing)
Also putting a hold on RPF1's for possibly 2 weeks.
Something came up that I hadn't seen in stock in the last 10 months. So waiting for Thursday's paycheck to put in the order for that. And then it'll be about 2 weeks for the rpf1 order.
I'll share what it is if the product is for sure for sale and
I get confirmation on shipment. If some how the website is mistaken then the rpf1 will get ordered.

I put my rpf1's on hold till end of the month to buy a pair of "driven - halo" FIA racing seats.
I already had there quick release and steering wheel. And was awaiting for taxes to come in to buy a pair. But Driven got sold to MOMO.
So this is the first batch of seats under the ownership of MOMO. (About 10 month waiting)
You can tell which products were original as they had a white circle. When MOMO took over they changed the logo to a red circle with the "D" in driven now inside the middle.
The driven seats if my math is right. Are either the same dimensions or larger then the sparco pro2000 II and sparco circuit II. I compared them against. (I know I fit a pro 2000 II, so I should fit the Halo just fine I hope.

Nice seats! Are you going to put those in only for track use or daily drive with those? I can imagine side visibility will be a little difficult, not to mention the stock seatbelt use.

The car is becoming more and more track only, which is what I bought it for anyways.
I was going to hold off on buying seats till next year when I do the cage. But didn't want to miss them again.
But once they're in they won't be coming out.
The only other place I ever drive the car is to work. And it really is basically 2 left hand turns then is a 20mile drive on a back road with little to no traffic as it's out in the sticks. It's a 2 lane road with only 3 passing spots. (1 of which is uphill and already has claimed 3 lives that I know of in 9yrs I've lived here, so really only 2)
I live 16 miles from CMP. And that is a right hand out my neighborhood, and then a right hand into CMP. Again 2 lane road.
When I take the car to VIR I'll be trailering it.
So basically that's my way of saying I should be ok with these seats.
The Driven harnesses are scheduled to be available till December.
So I'll get those at that time in prep for the cage build. Which I'm pretty sure I'll be sending the car to RRT. To copy John Freund's cage.
For this year although I'm way ahead on parts it's also caused delays as a few of them are being built and I can't complete the suspension till they are ready.
So the car is looking to be down at the earliest till september unless I get lucky and build times speed up.
Although there are a ton of events I want to go to, I really only have 1 event that I'd make a priority and that's in Nov when my brother visits and I'd still run my stock seats for that event.
