You check your spark plugs? That exhaust wheel is toast.

And here is some more carnage I found. Something went though my bep exhaust housing also. By the position I'm thinking it was part of a fin.

Since I had the radiator out i decided to do this mod also to see if it helped the coolant temps. And I'm also hoping that this mod may allow a the 2nd stock fan to go back in. But won't know till I mount the turbo and everything back in (hope to put it together tomorrow before the superbowl)

Well pulled the plugs. The looked like they needed to be changed even though they have less then 1000 miles on them.

So if it wasn't your plugs that killed your turbo, what was it?
Have you done a compression test to verify no valves are bent? If solid compression then maybe your turbo self destructed, if valves bent then prob something went through the motor. I had some rocks go through my motor and take out valves, pistons, and one turbo last year. Hopefully your motor is good.

I'll do a compression check hopefully before the weekend.

I'm taking my 02 housing to work, in the hopes I'll find someone who can weld it for me.
I also sent Justin from tuners a pm to see what he thinks about the turbo and if it's even salvageable/worth rebuilding.

Part of me thinks this is a sign. I'd been on the fence on which turbo to run for road racing anyways. Guess now I don't have to make the choice lol.

Well pulled the valve cover off to see if I could find any carnage in there. But actually everything looks in great shape.

Since I have some time before my 02housing is ready. I had a guy at work shave the lettering off valve cover.
So far I'm at 400grit sand paper

Well tax money is in ordered new parts.

- road race FEAL 441 kit today with dust covers
-Paul Volk LCA and rear toe arms, custom provisions to be able to mount my porsche brake ducts.
-adjustable rear wishbones.

Also will be sending my rims off to be repaired (curb rash and what not removed) still debating on going with RPF1 18x10.5 but not sure if I want to run a spacer as I don't have any way to modify my suspension yet to clear them.

Edit: Feal Suspension and bobby's adjustable wishbone came in

Few updates:
Received my torque solutions 12mm exhaust mounts. And they are really beefy. They have almost no flex in them what so every and look twice as thick as the stock rubber hangars.
Also received parts to make new all black 12an oil drain. The one I made out of braided line was just to rigid and a royal pain in the ass to get into place. The braided black line stuff is much more flexible.

Also recieved my tracking info for my feal 441 road race Suspension will be here on the 12th.

Need hood pin advice. Wife ordered me the carbonetics hood and rear diffuser for my 40th birthday coming up next month in fiberglass as I plan to paint them.(pictures for example)

I want to go with aerocatch locking hoodpins. But which style.
120-2100
125-2100

I've looked at the Web and most people run the 120-2100
Including Andrew Brilliant and john fruend.

But figured they probably got there prior to the 125-2100.

However ive also considered there might be a clamping/holding different between them

Anyrate chime in with info/knowledge
