The traditional school of thought was to use a non-detergent oil with no friction modifiers, so the rings had more friction to establish their wear patterns against the cylinder walls.
The people over at Bob is the Oil guy keep finding high concentration of Molybdenum in new cars when they preform a UOA, so that kind of blows the old school theory out of the water.
Frankly, I'm not sure what to believe any more.
Wouldn't they be finding that from the engine being assembled with moly lube? Or am I totally off?

Now that you mention it, the answer could really be that simple.
That's awesome!

What kinda FP gauge are you needing. I have a reg. 52mm gauge if you are talking about that and a liquid filled one for the AFPR too.

Sorry Aaron should of said something to ya that I needed one.
I needed the liquid filled one that goes on the regulator. But I just placed the order and the parts are on there way.

Bought the car 3 weeks ago but finally got it last week. Due to weather and the car parked in his back yard and under a car port.
1998 auto GSX
Exterior is red
Interior is black with grey door panel inserts
Tokico illuminas w/ eibach prokit springs
Trans lab shift kit on rebuild auto trans
Other than that the car is mostly stock
Plans for the car is to keep it simple
16g and some corn
Full black interior
Fog lights
Weight reduction while keeping it functional as a daily
Lightweight 16's carbon hood/hatch if money permits
Doing this budget build with either things I have in the garage or trading parts people may need for parts that I don't.
Have almost all parts needed just waiting on a few things and I can get it going then off to DB for a tune.
Best part of all car has no rust and is free of dents and scratches
I plan on keeping till fall. Then may be looking to sell
