Modifications: Front mount intercooler allowed, aftermarket BOV allowed, upgraded piping allowed.
Wastegates: External wastegates allowed.
Intake manifold: *Any style aftermarket intake manifolds may be used.
Exhaust manifold: *Any style exhaust manifolds may be used with stock frame turbochargers like those allowed in the SA class. *Only cast exhaust manifolds are allowed with non-stock frame/stock bolt pattern turbos like those from PTE or Bullseye.
Nitrous: Allowed.
Superchargers: *OEM appearing supercharger allowed. *Internal upgrades and porting allowed.
Turbocharger: *Single or twin turbocharger. *Turbocharger must use an inlet flange that would bolt to a factory exhaust manifold. *This would include stock turbochargers that came on the car, stock turbochargers with upgraded upgraded wheels or housings, or aftermarket turbos that are meant to bolt to a factory flange(For example SCM50, MAP EF4, CBRD BBK, FP Black, Blouch Dominator 4.0XT). *Non OEM location mounting allowed. *Turbo swaps from different cars made by same manufacturer allowed(VF39 from STI on WRX, Evo 9 turbo on 2G DSM, etc). *Rotated turbo setups allowed with stock frame turbo. *A factory flanged exhaust manifold/up-pipe must be able to bolt to turbo even if factory aren’t used and turbo isn’t in factory location. *A factory downpipe/O2 housing must be able to bolt to turbo even if factory aren’t used. *PTE and Bullseye or similar Mitsubishi exhaust housing turbos ARE allowed, but must use a cast exhaust manifold. *Single turbo 61.5mm maximum turbocharger compressor wheel inducer size. *Twin turbo 53.5mm maximum turbocharger compressor wheel inducer size. *4” maximum size turbocharger inlet.

That's what I'm thinking. I pm'd tachyon to see if this would still be SA/U. I know forsure if I run the 18g cover SA is out.
Tachyon is running the downfiring on his car and he runs unlimited class.
18g Comp cover does have a mitsu symbol on it if that counts for anything.
I'm gonna talk with Shane to and see if we can max out the 16G cover and do a second tune with the 18G cover.
I'd like to see what this hta68 does back to back on the dyno to but funds aren't there to be screwing around right now.
Goodhart I believe the weight savings was around 20-25lbs so $1 a lb doesn't sound to bad.

So reading those rules I fall in the SA/u if I run the 18G cover. Which is fine by me!
I wanted to run the GTRs anyways ;)

You'll be fine in SA/U.
Our cars are setup so similar it would be a good fight.

The pro-tree is pretty gay with an auto though, I hope you are able to get up on that stall lightning quick!

Thanks for confirming tachyon. I just have an end goal of having fun with it. Don't really care what class I end up in.
Yeah the pro tree sounds dumb. Maybe that rule will change. I'm also not running a stall in my car so gotta see how much Boost I can build by just holding the brakes. If its not good ill get a restalled one from ipt.
If I do end up in SA/U though this bish is going on an expensive diet. Lol

No restrictions on exhaust for SAU, might as well do a dump right off the o2 housing! You can gut the interior too, and Lexan is allowed. :D
