Shamless plug for Whitebear Mitsu in 3..

I recently test drove a TDI for fun, and was very impressed, 40+mpg, 240tq, and deisel longevity. I will definitly be looking into them when I purchase another car. not sure what is in the 15k range they seem to hold their value really well but alot have higher miles as they are bought to drive, here is a quick one I pulled of CL

Damn, now that is pretty sweet.

I will have to go test drive some of those.

Maybe find a 2012 base Elantra manual transmission if they have any left for probably around $16k. Something like that will be my next DD, hard to beat the price and warranty. Not exactly a fun car but awesome MPG and reliability/warranty.

50k on a gas car = 100k on a diesel car. My bro just passed 300k in his 2002 jetta tdi

You could always get a hybrid

Andrew has 204k on his '05 Prius that we drove up for the Spring Cruise; he bought it with 90k for about $7k I think and it's needed nothing but tires and oil.

God so many options...I think I need to go drive some.

Just looked, the brand new 2013 elantra base are like 16500 new, hell a few more bucks and I can get a brand new car...that is tempting, I like new shit :)

The TDI is also a nice looking option.

So right now...

1.Impreza base (~30k miles) for 15k
2.new elantra for 16.5k
3.TDI for 15k with 75k miles

No particular order, but those are 3 I didn't think of ever.

Super Bleeder!!

Shouldnt that be the other way around?

Kia Forte starts at $15k new.

I've ridden around a lot lately in the Koup version which is a bit more, but it's a very nice car and has plenty of features and options standard/available.

Big touch screen and fancy gauges.

hmmmm, I really don't want to give chevy/dodge any business as they took all our tax dollars in the bailout...but maybe I should support them to help my investment haha.

Worth checking out!
