Kind of funny, I have one that is aluminum too, it was the test part. The SS will hold up better, its much thinner and weigh about the same as the test part.
I almost have the ecu ready to go, I have the AEM serial gauge all setup now too. The CAN communication is all configured to read all of the widebands. I can display them on the serial gauge too to check them out.

Started it yesterday, not easy to get all of the 12 tooth stuff figured out. Lots of timing light time required. The 12 tooth wheel makes the car start instantly, and the timing is dead on with no drift like it had before at idle! It started faster than factory did, although my settings need adjustment big time as it starts harder when warm. The tune needs a ton of work, not even close, setup the injectors copied over the fuel map, set the micro-bits/second and it runs super pig rich. Lots of work to be done on the tune, that sucks.
Today I drove it around the block, the tilton clutch is the best thing ever, the engagement is super smooth, like street car semi metalic smooth. The dog box shifts like butter, the noise from the straight cut gears is awesome. 5th gear is quiet, since it’s factory. I cannot wait to get it all tuned up and get it down the track. The 4 wide bands are cool too, the only thing I need to get figured out is the idle solenoid, I have a feeling that the series 2 ecu is limited on a PWM output like the series one had support for. Fail
Also my car is on the main page of DSMTuners, highlighted as the build of the month. Kind of cool!

Very cool, the switch from vs1 to vs2 is not easy and will require a complete retune, idk why they have it so you can convert the maps when it doesn't work. Good luck.

Congrats on build of the month, did the v1 have a lot of drift in timing in the upper RPM's? Wonder if the v1 would have any drift with the 12 tooth?
None the less car is beautiful and I'm sure the feeling of doing everything yourself is the best part!:spin:
