Well tracton still sucks, but it was a pretty noticable difference. Here are a few pics of the hood.

I got bored today and decided to start pulling my wiring harness. I got it about half way out and then I noticed this..

2 wires had been rubbing on the subframe and grounding out. So I fixed them and taped it all back up and bought some plastic wire loom and wrapped it around the harness and so far so good. I only drove it for 30mins but I'm pretty confident that was the issue. Only time will tell.

I bet that was your issue. I can see bare wire in there.

Yeah a red wire with a black stripe wore through down to bare wire. Pretty sure it's good to go now since I haven't had any issues in the last couple days.

wow andy its nice to see your car come together so well. i remember seeing it a few years ago and it blew me away at how clean it was then and it just keeps getting better!

I just read this entire thread and all i can say is holy shit! All that hard work paid off! That car is super clean and I hope my 1g will end up being even half as clean as yours. Keep up the good work man.
