Well I suppose I could update this thread finally and catch up.
I had Jesse fill in the TB flange by welding it.

Here is a pic of everything installed. Eventually I'll redue the UICP since it's really janky right now.

After driving the car around it developed a studdering issue and kept blowing the MPI fuse. So I got really frustrated and decided to beat on the car. I went to NLTS into 3rd and byebye went 3rd gear. Then a block from my house it got locked into 1st gear. I had to sit and crank the car to limp it home. I thought it was kinda funny.
I let the car sit for about a month since I was so sick of it until one day it hit me that the cookout was coming up and I didnt want to miss it. So I picked up a '90 tranny from Cudvig. A new ClutchNet solid 4-puck disk, resurfaced the flywheel and freshened up the ACT2600 PP surface.

Got the car running and tranny shifts decent except for 2nd gear. I have to really granny shift it so it doesn't grind. But the tranny was cheap so I couldn't complain. I drove the car to work and back a couple days and everything was fine. I detailed the car and the colt wednesday before the cookout and the car was looking better then ever. On the way to the cookout the car decided to hate me and I blew 4 fuses on the way.. Thank god a fuse didn't blow once we hit traffic. That would have been a nightmare. But I made it there and back and that's all I wanted out of the car this summer.
So now the car sits yet again. Maybe I'll decide to pull the harness out of the car and fix the issue. I'll need a car to drive while I turbo the colt so maybe that will inspire me to get it running. Otherwise the car will sit and it will be getting a new turbo with a built tranny over the winter and obviously a new wiring harness.
