exactly. When I do decide to hook it up, I am going to bring it to Shane and say,"Make it work!" lol just to make sure its done the right way, like Brad's

Putting the battery down on the K member is super easy. I just used self tapping screws to hold the tray down, then used the stock tie down and bolted it to an existing hole in the lower frame rail. I had to pull some of the wires down a little farther to get them to the battery posts, but that just cleaned up the firewall a little more.

Another benefit to keeping it in the engine bay besides the cut out switch, is you don't need to rewire anything, and you keep 100% of your trunk space.

Heard from Gosh today, he said he could see that the head gasket did in fact blow, he could see it on the deck surface of the head apparently. He is going to pull it all apart, hot tank it, install new seals, guides, etc. and install some Supertech dual valve springs I'm going to pick up.

I never really got a really close look at my cylinder walls, but I asked my brother to check them out today, and he said they don't look the greatest :( I will check them out myself hopefully on Friday when I am in town again. I don't want to pull the engine, but I will if it means doing it the right way that's what I will do. Hopefully I can just re-ring the pistons...

Are you just doing a head job? Not going to touch the bottom end?

It already has a built bottom end, just need to make sure the cyl walls are in good shape prior to putting it back together. Hopefully, nothing will need to be done on the bottom end.

Just take out the upper fuse box it unplugs from the bottom it is just for the a/c
Also take out the fuel noids next to it.
Cut the top 1/2 off the power stearing bracket and cut the upper engine mount.
(I have it done on both the talon and the wifes hatch) makes it look a lot cleaner

I can ditch all 3 of those solenoids? just rip em out and cover the wires so they don't ground out?

Where exactly do I cut the engine and power steering mounts? Anyone have pics?
