Haha, whatever, the guys that got minors were hanging out in the hotel walking around with beers, hanging around outside with beer, etc. I'm not saying I wouldn't have done it but it's asking for trouble when you're underage ;) It's like speeding when you are driving w/o a license!
The vandalization I feel completely awful about. From the sounds of it lots of people rolled through that ramp to check out our cars, so if if anyone has any specific or semi-specific info on who might have done it or when it might have happened, please let us know. Both cars have $500 deductible so they are just out the cash :( :( :(
Pics are uploading now, but the weather was WAY better than we were expecting. The ride down we saw some light snow, but the roads were fine. I had the ACD in 'gravel' mode as I usually do in the rain, and never had an issue in all the twisties. Today was SO NICE we decided to just come back the way we came, and it was WAY worth it! We got some awesome pics and had some extra good times at WOT and cranking around the corners.
Can I also say, Anna rode with me the whole way there and back, and while I drove relatively nicely, I nailed all the twisties and hung with the group. She did not get car sick one bit, this is a huge step for her!
The pheasant, hughes hit it and it went flying off over the guardrail instantly, I'm pretty sure it's roadkill :) No damage to the car!
Janelle's car has a chunk out of the trim around the top of the windshield, Hughes must have hit a small something in the road (he was in front) and whipped it up into her. :( Nothing major though, perhaps could be covered under glass coverage?
Craig's car just died (gently) as we went to turn left on 61 into LaCrosse, we pushed it over to the Kwik Trip and took valve cover off, all looked well. He turned it over again and it was definitly rod knock. Two years and 40k miles on a built motor at 400whp+ trashed on daily is pretty impressive IMHO, considering mark built the motor when he was drunk the night before the cookout two years ago, the stories alone are worth rebuilding it. Then again there are evos out there for pretty cheap, Craig.... ;)
Those of us that were 'of age' tore it up at the local bars, I must have had 10 jack cokes! Chuck, I still owe you a drink man! We were drinking form about 4pm until midnight, not too shabby. Janelle is possibly still sleeping in her car in a park in Lake City. :) Hope you're feeling better! The hot girl-on-girl action did not coincide with the hot tub, it happened at the bar :)
Sounds like you guys had a blast!!
Shitty to hear about the vehicle damage, but that always comes with the territory...
