I'll gladly pay to have you banned, too.

I didn't mean to come out like an accusation, but i know usually the guy organizing gets a cut for bringing the business.
Do you think this way about everything? Maybe you should start organizing your own events if you think these things are so cheap and easy to put together. I've organized and helped run my fair share of meets, dyno days and cruises that I'll be surprised if I don't have gray hair before I'm 40.

I've spent more money out of my pocket and time out of my life for these events than I care to think about and never asked for anything in return. Allan, Jana, Scheides and Kracka are doing the same, the least you all who are whining about $5 could do is suck it up and pay respect where it's due instead of getting spoon fed all the time.

Like I said, Id be happy to help organize events, but it seems to be only a couple people that want to do it, and they keep it secretive.

I wish it was more of a group effort to organize these events, but its not. And this is why Im asking about the costs involved here.

Last springs cruise went just fine, no one got lost, my car got thrown up in, it was a dandy time. Just trying to make a point, but only a couple people see it.

Ah, the fond memories of Duluth and a slut that I haven't talked to since.

I see Peter's point, it does seem s3cr3t at times, but then I also see the advantages of not publicly posting the route ahead of time for cops to setup traps or something. Eh, it's $5, and Emily is not going so I'll probably carpool with someone anyway. I suppose I can afford $2.50, just this once :)

When Scheides and I were discussing whether or not to ask people for a $5 donation I honestly thought that it would not be a big deal. It obviously is to some and I really don't know what to say. This cruise weekend will be a lot of fun and I don't want some nonsense like this hanging a cloud over the event.

Holy balls, 3 pages of people whining about a $5 charge per car? Come on. I'm sure there are tons of out-of-pocket expenses that Scheides donates to getting this stuff put together. I'm sure this site isn't free to run either, so $5 here and there shouldn't be a big deal for all the people that come on here and have fun/learn shit.

Yeah, joining is free. But running it isn't...

I'd pay the $5 without thinking twice. It's $5. I'm not even charging Scheides the labor for the decals I'm helping create. They're time consuming as hell too! I'd rather help the guy out and support the site!

With all that said, quit being stingy.

That's just it, if someone didn't take the reigns then nothing would get done and there would never be any events. If you want to plan something don't be afraid to talk to Scheides about it, there's always plenty of work to do in planning and organizing stuff throughout the entire year and well into the future.

The people who are complaining about this are rediculous. its only $5!! big deal! thats like 2 burgers at a fast food place, and this is for an event that's for 2 days. The time they put in, money they spent for gas and organizing the packets and stuff. just do it and support the site..

Instead of $5 can i just donate a box of donut holes?
