I'll definatly bring my digital camera, just got new batteries and cleaned up some space on the memory card. I'm currently updating my iPod, and once that's done I just need gas and I'm good to go.

Gas up at the meeting point, there is a BP right next to the Perkins! BUT do it right when you get there, we roll out when we have everyone!
Kevin, I forgot to mention this, but your turbo sounds freaking awesome when it is pulling hard right alongside my car. I think further testing & comparing is in order ;) Did I mention my car has a stock evo turbo on it still?

Yea, it will be a beautiful route! Maybe some snow on Saturday won't be so bad after all, make things pretty. Then hopefully it all melts by Sunday so you all can go wreck havock!
Is this gonna be the same route in the fall? Would be beautiful assuming there are lots of trees to be seen that would be changing colors.
God, Drive your ass out here lets go!! who needs money anyways...

Dangit I'm pissed. Yea sure I had a long time to get ready, but how am I supposed to get my missing lug nut from firestone when my car is still in storage? And as soon as I take it out of storage it goes to map because I have no clutch. I finally just got home from school and it's 6:30. Fortunatly, I was able to get a stock lug nut from napa along with some fresh oil. So I'll change the oil tonight, get the clutch adjusted, and make sure everything is runin fine. My main concern besides the weather is how well my car will hold up. I haven't put more than 10 miles on it since I got it out of storage. The gas is still the same old gas I put it months ago as well. I feel like I've got a good list of excuses ;) and heck, I'm still tryin to go!
p.s. I know a lot of you guys had a ton more to do to get ready, but at least you had access to your cars. I was 3 hours away from mine until now.

I know how it feels Mr.98gsx, i just got to my car last night to put my quaife in the tranny and throw in the spec 5 clutch because i live 200 miles away from where my car is stored. Last night putting the tranny back together I thought I had all the shift rails lined up with the bell housing and one was just barely off and it crushed the shift rail bushing, I called everywhere in central minnesota to try find one today so that I could take my car but I guess I wont be able to. Looks like I will either be driving the 325xi or riding with Justin Nelson in the T/A.

Damn if I would of saw this like the two hours ago you posted it, I might have changed my mind. But it is 8:30 and it would take me atleast 3 hours to drive down to the cities since half of the drive is crappy WI roads that don't get plowed.
And Brian I hope you atleast were smart enough to put some fuel stabilizer in it.

LOL I love how you guys think that because your car was in storage and several hours away that you didn't have enough time! Just like we said, get everything done at least a week early, get some miles on the car, make sure everything is ready to rock! I mean seriously, you're going to spend the whole time wondering if your car is going to hold together. Why not instead get that overwith last week, and then we'll have a fun time tearing it up on the cruise--taht's the idea!

I finally have a valid excuse why not to go.
Not to long ago me and my buddy were drunking fighting / wrestling and my alarm unlocker broke off my keys and I've been carrying them seperately.
Well I was taking a piss and as I flushed and turned around and it fell out of my hoodie and is gone now.
My stupid locks don't work either because my window brackets are loose and I was too lazy last summer to fix them.

^yea I put fuel stabilizer in it.
And scheides how was I supposed to get all this stuff done a week ago when I was at school? I couldn't get a ride home lol considering my car wasn't with me lol.
Anyways, I found out I didn't actually need a lug nut like map said. They must have meant to call a diff customer lol. And I've got the oil sitting in my garage. I took the car for a quick spin to see how the clutch felt and luckily it was great! Just needs to be adjusted a little bit. So I was just pulling into my driveway thinking that I might actually get to go on the cruise and as I slow down to go up my steep driveway I hear a winning/rubbing sound as I put a little force on my shifter to go into any gear. so something must just be a little off idk. It's too late to take it to map and have them check over it, so I'll have to do that tomorrow.
