Where's Jake?

Hey does anybody know wtf happend to Jake (eclipsegst). He hasn't been on the boards in 5 days and normally the guy is on 5 hours a day! I bought some stuff from him a while ago and I haven't heard from him in a few weeks. Jake's a buddy of mine so I know he's not rippin me off or anything, but I was just wondering if anybody knew what happend to him?

Well, I'd have to say I'm fairly dissapointed about what I've read. I would say it "looks" a lot like a new excuse just comes up every so often and yet no one is actually able to talk to Jake.

Can we get a few of the Winona guys to please chime in on this, there was a few of you that worked in that shop together so it's time to get straight.

Personally, we never have and never will allow this shit on the boards so in my eyes membership here (the obvious least of anyones worries) is in question as well.

^I spoke with Jakes girlfriend today and she said Jake's aunt and uncle were in a car accident and he's been spending a lot of time in the cities with them. He's also been working a lot with his dad fixing up some of the homes that were involved in the flood. I agree though, jake should really step up and find the time to get his shit straightened out.

That doesn't fly or make any sense.

a) why can't Jake contact these guys directly. With issues like these come understanding. People just want to know where they stand. These guys have apparently invested some $$$ in the work and deserve to be kept up to date. That is one thing that will KILL anyone or any shop. Not being upfront with time frames and delays/issues.

b) isn't there other people who have access to that big shop down there to help people get their shit back? Personally I think we are only days away from the cops knocking on doors. Shit, I read one guy drove 4 hours from WI already just to talk face to face with the gf and get contact info..... people aren't going to walk away.
