View Full Version : Where's Jake?
No one has called the police?
Earlier in this thread or another one someone mentioned they called the police for advice on what to do, they never filed anything or really got the police involved.

That doesn't sound right at all. You do not need an attorney to file a police report on them.
I agree, you should call the police and talk to a detective or something higher up than the receptionist. Basically you are dealing with theft. Does he have a real business, or were the checks made out to him personally? If they were made out to him, he is in a world of hurt.

I am sure some of the people involved in the QPR deal could help on this one. I dont understand why you would need an attorney to file a report of stolen property with the police dept.

we all have filed a police report, but the police are retarded. Jake HAS eric's car, and he was calling to report it stolen, but because jake didn't PHYSICALLY take it from eric, they "can't do anything"
this is AMAZINGLY bullshit
and btw, you wouldn't be the tim who works at the shop and is selling his evo, would you?

No. Not at all affiliated with these people.
If the vehicle is secured on their property and they will not turn it over to the owner how is it not stolen?

the police simply do not want to get involved, they are avoiding us at all costs, and should be fined for such poor behaviour. Their duty is to the citizens of this country, if they aren't going to help us out when someone steels our stuff, HOW ON EARTH do they expect us to not take matters into our own hands. Police should either be extremely strict and dilagent with their work, or stay completely out of our way. They can't be in the middle on any issue, because otherwise the whole system fails. Im probably going to call them a few more times and bug them until they decide to actually get off their asses and begin an investigation.
Yep, everyone should start calling them every day. They will get sick of it quickly and start checking it out. Either that or you say you are getting an attorney to file a claim against them for negligence.

We need to find and recruit a local lawyer that's into cars, and get them on this site just for times like these, for free legal advice/action!
