So here's my project. I got the car in Febuary from a kid selling it on MNSC. The car was mostly stock at the time, it just had a small 16g, 2g exhaust mani, a small Spearco FMIC, a boost gauge, and a K&N filter. It had a boost leak, and some crappy plugs and wires when I got it, so the first mod was to get rid of all the worthless Emissions crap, and throw in a decent set of plugs and wires. That cured the boost leak, and made it run better, but I wanted more.
So over the last few months, I had been pinching my pennies, and buying things whenever a deal came my way. I ended up getting a dual ball bearing GT3076 for the new turbo, a Tial 38mm wastegate a Magnus intake manifold, ported and jet coated 2g exhaust manifold, some 950cc FIC injectors, and a GM maf and translator. I came across a pretty good deal on a built motor, so I decided to pick it up. Once we got it torn apart, we found out the oil pump siezed, and spun all the main and rod bearings. Another suprise was awating us as well. I was told that the block nad Wiesco pistons and Eagle rods. To my suprise, the pistons weren't wiesco., They were JE pistons, so that made me happy. All the bottom end needed was a set of bearings, and a crank, so I got a used crank that was in good condition, and some ACL race bearings. While I was at MAP for the crank and bearings, I decided I'd throw some ARP head studs on it as well.
At this point, he only other thing I needed was an intercooler, some couplers, and an 02 housing. I just decided to go with an ebay FMIC, I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try, and if something better comes along some day, it'll be easy enough to replace. For the o2 housing, I got a weldup kit from Punishment Racing, and I got all my couplers and clamps from ExtremePSI.com.
Last week, with the much appreciated help of Mark (TKRperformance) and his father, we tore out all my old crap and put in the new stuff. Everything went together relatively easy, considering the ammount of custom fab they had to do.
So, with all the talking out of the way, I'll get some pics up.

Ya I think I seen you on W River Road just a couple days ago, turning onto 85th. Assuming you were coming from the shop... Me and Derek both saw the car and wondered who it was. Looked real clean man.

one more pic, the stock blowoff, that will be getting replaced soon enough.

Also, I forgot to mention the car had an ACT 2600 when I got it, but the disc was getting pretty worn, so we replaced that with a new one Mark had laying around. There's still a list of parts that I haven't gotten yet, but that'll all come in time. I'm gonna be getting a wideband pretty soon, a stiffer spring for the wastegate, DSMlink, and a built head. So far, I've got about 350 miles on it, and she purrs like a kitten. Just gotta get used to not having power steering anymore, but it's not so bad.

Ya we were at the 85th intersection in my Green Galant, and you were at the intersection about to turn onto 85th off W River Road. We both seen it and were like "DAMN that sucker is clean, but who the hell is it?"

Yeah, there's a couple flaws with the body that I'll take care of this fall/winter. but overall, it's a really clean car. I got lucky when I found this one :)
