Couldn't match my best from last year, once I figured out how to launch it on these tires I couldn't hit any gears. My clutch switch which allows for no lift to shift as well as antilag between gears in not operational and I was trying to shift upwards of 8000 rpms. Then you get into the whole breaking up in higher gears issue, which we got figured out later in the day. My best pass in the car was 12.14 @ 99, needless to say I was on the brakes hard as to not get kicked out lol. Oh well, glad we went up there and found out what our issues are before the shootout, hopefully it will all be cleared up before then.

Crazy, my car has a better time than either of them also! I ran a 11.53@123 last year. I am sure that will change soon though. What is Carey's best time?
I've run a 11.65@127 on 92 octane, I am pretty sure that is one of the quickest, pump gas, numbers on here.
Did you leave patches of rubber for 300+ feet?
I did ;). Its simple, this is the cars 3rd EVER time to the track, first time it was nearly stock. I had serious shifting issues (bad cable) and I need the nitrous to keep it on boost, until I can no lift gears.
I also need some good tires, or to turn the boost down to reasonable for the tires ;(. We'll see how it goes next weekend. With the new cables and the spray.
But 11.540 is slower than 11.53x so you are correct.
131 does trump 123 though ;).

What kind of 60' and 1/8th mile times were you guys getting?

Pump schmump. Same difference, going fast means going fast on whatever gas. Run what you brung is always what it ends up being.
the mph doesn't really add up for the power/weight though.. but meh. Supras go 130+ wtih 650 dynojet whp and weigh about the same if not a little less. My ghetto-fied maroon 1g that weighed in at 2995lbs went 132.9mph on high 500s on on that fwhp dynojet.
131 does trump 123 though ;).
I was making 454 whp on a dynojet though :D I am just giving you guys some crap while I can. I have had disappointing trips to the track too, it happens. I don't plan on taking my car to the level you guys are.

I know ;). I don't know how much power I wasn't making, but I was running 28psi peak and it was very very hot.
I am going to have to boostleak test the system to make sure, but I am pretty sure it was just the intake temps holding me back.

I need a Shep tranny bad. All this talk of going to the track with some high hp cars is killing me. All I need is a tranny, and all I have is three busted ones.;) I need my 10 second slip.
Here is a basic rundown of my only time at the track with some real power:
Well for a total of three passes total at the current power levels(571fwhp/490tq), and with shifting issues that sound as bad, if not worse then Swannys. At 28lbs(running out of fuel.. would run more otherwise), a 11.4 @ 132 still holds up pretty well. I think two runs were a high 1.7, and a low 1.8 60ft.. But my best run(third) should have been THE run, when an intercooler pipe popped off in the middle of the third run, with my best 60ft ever(1.6x). And with dropping down to 11-12lbs?(Shane may remember)with the pipe mostly off, that run was still an 11.5@122?. That run was my quickest eigth mile as well, I'll have to look for those slips.
I have severe spinning issues in first and second due to street tires as well. It's not that easy to make power, then get a perfect pass. Between relearning how to launch your car, then getting a series of perfect shifts, and not having any mechanical/tunning issues, running the # you want is not as easy as it may seem. So for those who have done it.. congrats. I just need some seat time.

Yeah, there's a big difference between having a good setup and running a good time at the track. I've been able to leave 300' strips of rubber since 1999, but due to this and that, haven't gotten any better than a couple of lame 11.9s. After two years of shifting problems, got that solved and now I've got fuel issues. You fix one thing and something else pops up, it never ends when you get to a certain level.

Well then its pretty easy. My car was down on power/time to accelerate or is really heavy.
I bet its the first one, but im going to weigh it tonight. I was spinning very very hard, then bogging into 3rd and slowly pulling thru boost (2 seconds according to aem logs).
Shane:
my 60's ranged from 1.755-1.975 330's were 5.053-5.669.
1/8's were 7.583-8.085 at 87.68-93.26mph
I was spending nearly 2 seconds according to the aem log burning out, then bogging and re-spinning in 1st..spin thru 2nd, and bog the 2-3..build boost from 7psi and get to 22psi 1.5 seconds later, and FINALLY haul out on the track.
I gained anywhere from 36-43mph in the last 1/8 track, pending how shitty it went, but the car was useless/slow the first 1/8 of the track.
Pretty much it was a fun experience to get more seat time ::shrugs::
