Why was this thread even started? Much less in the public forums? Craig, move this beast. If people want drama on this go to MN SRT forums.

Street car - AC, Tuneage, interior, ect ect

Not a street car - Gutted Fish.

Just cause you can drive a Pro Stock or Nascar car on a public road doesn't make it a street car.

It is definately between the 3 shop cars, but Shane's is down now for a bit. That leaves Chris and Josh to battle it out. Remember Chris' is on a dynojet in FWD and Josh's is uncorrected on a Dynamics in AWD, so the HP difference is much larger than it looks. The weight difference is even larger though, I bet Chris is 2/3 the weight that the stealth is. The stealth does hook really good, better than a DSM on street tires.

Did someone beat 10.42 and 138mph? Thats what my street car 2G DSM ran with stock leather interior and non-drag radial street tires. My car made 704whp and 601ft-lbs on a Dynojet, it was making around 660whp when it went 10.4. Josh's would probably put down over 800whp on a Dynojet, if he could convert to FWD or goto AMS. My car might come back with another hundred whp or so compard to what it was making before, but that won't happen until I am not working 12-16 hours a day everyday on customer cars. When the car was making 660-700whp the power band was extremely good and it probably could have run a 9 with good tires and a clean pass.

When Josh and Chris beat my time tonight at BIR, I might be more motivated to get it running again. :)

Shane, I'll seriously put your motor together for you. I can do it here at work. If you actually got like really motivated, I'm sure you could have it driving in 2 weeks or so. Maybe even less time. PM If you want on the matter. I know you are more then capable of doing it, but I know how your schedule goes too.

Bingo.
The street car record is 10.42 for this site.
The conditions of Chris and my race were uneven, I"ll leave it at that, craig thanks for starting drama. If you want to run your street bike against my street car, I'll gladly race you.
There is some drama for you.
Chris and I will be running at the track tonight, if I don't break anything hopefully I can go deep 10's. I will just say that I have another 100awhp on a DD to gain, EASILY before I have to bump up my turbo size.
The weight is a huge difference. I haven't weight my car, but I'd imagine I am around 3800-4000lbs with my fat ass in there. Chris's car is probably around 2400lbs with him in it, that thing is light.
In the end the record is held by Shane from 2? years ago. 10.42@138. My goal is to break 10.34@136 so I can take it down for "street 3s" it should be interesting.
If I can drive my car back on the trailer, its a good night.

Both cars are ungodly fast, no need to start drama, lets all be happy for the both of them and wish them the best at the track :) I look forward to hearing the results.

Wow, for a thread like this the drama has been kept to a minimum lol.

As for the other night, Josh is correct in the fact that conditions were uneven, and I can't even hear any horns honking from inside my car ;) I would never use that race to gauge our cars, as they are both monsters. I look at it as a way to gauge who was catching up/falling back once things got going...

All in all, we will find out tonight! And until 10.42 is surpassed, Shane is the man on this forum...
