Your a fucking idiot.
We were talking about pump gas numbers. I was at the track on pump gas, around 22psi and made about 500awhp...ran 11.65@127
At the track this time it was 28psi, and I would estimate it around 640awhp...and ran the 11.54@131
Here is the breakdown on the car now:
The car makes a consistant 680-695awhp around 31-32psi right now. The intercooler temps play havoc on that. It has a best of 703awhp at 32.4psi and a worst of 663awhp at 31-31.5psi on db's dyno. I have yet to see what it does with nitrous cooling the intake charge and a bit more boost.
At the track it spun hard. Tell you what...the people complaining about these mid 11 second cars bickering, I invite you to come see my "mid 11 second car" on the highway.
That makes sense now :) If you would have explained it I would have understood as opposed to the other guy. The first posts made it seem as if you were at the track the last time making the 500.
And about me going up to the twin cities... I like to run at the track. Easier to see which car is faster and its legal. Id be happy to bring my crappy car back to the track... after all Hondas that trap at 125 can beat it

And hey now, I dont need to be an idiot to find it strange.... no one ever posted the correct information on your latest runs apparently and the info that was posted made it seem much differently.
Obviously your car will run quicker, I never doubted it. Just as most every guy like us... the cars will always have problems :)

Yeah thats what I changed that post, I am a bit cranky this morning, I went back and re-read my posts and saw how you got confused, your not an idiot.
On pump gas its manageable at the track, just had clutch issues. On race gas the tires it is on are useless and it is nearly slower because of that.
In the end i need proper tires to contain the power at the line/first 400ish feet. I also need to fix a clutch dragging issue (think its a combo of slave cylinder and shifter cable issues) so I can get gears.
Add some more boost and we are golden :). Well good enough for these smaller turbo's, I'd like to run larger next year.

Dont feel bad about more power and the same times... My pos ran an 11.10 @ 129 with 26psi and at 30psi I ran an 11.19 @ 127. I had damned problems with the EMS and ignition. Like I said before, I think everyone here has some sort of problem holding them back... it never ends.

Well, as far as I can tell, no one has beat my time of 7.39 seconds at 249mph.

Evilevo-
At the track it spun hard. Tell you what...the people complaining about these mid 11 second cars bickering, I invite you to come see my "mid 11 second car" on the highway. I do have excuses for the car, but in the end I am not saying its a 9 second car. I am saying its a mid 11 second car with problems and moves out plenty well on the highway, it should move out on the track next time there.
Swanny Swanny Swanny, come on now. Take that from roll highway bullshit to TCStangs, we all know that isn't real racing. That is like saying "My car makes a ton of power but I can't drive and the car doesn't hook so this is the only way I can make myself feel better about dumping tons of time and money into a car that isn't living up to my expectations".
Judging from your traps I would guess the car was making around 550whp at the track. Even with the weight if it was making 680whp it would have been in the 140 range spinning or no spinning.
Maybe there is a flaw in the tuning somewhere, in a controlled environment your AITs will remain relatively constant unless you are doing pull after pull. You take that same tune out where it is 30 degrees hotter and unless you have it calibrated perfectly to compensate for that you could be way down on power.
I remember Jet battling the AIT issue a lot in the past, we would street tune the car during the day, then go out at night and it would run like ass since the temp dropped a lot. It took awhile to get that figured out. Maybe thats not your problem but something is not right there if you are 100whp down on power when you are at the track.
I guess when you run the nitrous you will see if heatsoak is your problem. And by the way, all the spinning your doing is saving your car, but I am sure you knew that.
