OK i had written a shit load just a bit ago but i accidently closed the window and it all got erased ::slaps head:: but ill try and re-write it as accuratly as possible.... here goes.
Any drug that makes you act like that fucktard in the movie OBVIOUSLY killed more braincells then it was worth.
I have tried almost every drug once (some on multiple occasions) but i would NEVER try this drug. The simple reason is that by what this kid was saying about the enviornment having a huge impact on the drug. Any drug that the enviornment has that much impact on whether you have a good peak or a bad peak really isnt worth the risk. I have done E on multiple occasions and that is a drug that is affected by the enviornment you are in, but it is not to the extent of what this kid is saying.
NOW... with the whole "We smoke weed and do drugs to free our mind" OK Hippy you fucking missed your year by a good 40 years. The hippys of the 60s and 70s were doing drugs to free their minds because the 50s were so oppressed and the war in Vietnam. Welcome to the 2000's buddy, how about doing something to better your life and expand your lifestyle instead of fucking smokeing your life away. IF you dare say i dont smoke to be cool, i smoke to open my horizons, go fuck yourself, you lying to yourself and now your lying to us. How about using that time that you were using to "Open your horizons" and opening a book then instead of numbing your brain you will be enlightening it and bettering yourself.

Wow what a thread. I am with Tauni on this one. Sure once in a while isnt going to hurt much, but how many people do you know that actually only smoke pot once in a while? With every single pot smoker I know, they went from once in a while to occasionally to a few times a week and about half of them to once a day or more. A couple quit, but no one ever just stayed at like once a month or whatever. Dont tell me this bullshit about it not fucking with your head. I know a guy name Joe, he was never smart, but he could atleast walk and talk at the same time. He's been smoking weed for a few years now, nothing else, and he can barely carry on a coherent conversation. Another guy named Greg smokes 2-3 times a day and he sits and giggles about stupid shit all day, stoned or not. Dont say its got no physical harms either. Know any runners that smoke pot? No. I know a few people that used to run or play sports but started smoking weed and now they have a hard time running the length of a football field without stopping to take a breath. And yes it is a gateway drug. Do you know anyone that just starts off on meth? Nope, they do pot first. A really good example of a drug fuck up is my buddy Duane. He started smoking pot when his mom died when he was 14. Now he cant hold down a steady job, walk up a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing, and the drugs fucked his mind enough for thim to get like 4-5 different mental conditions. You stoners can convince yourselves of whatever you want but it is fuckin with you mentally and physically. Just keep on it for 15 years or so, and when your stupid ass is out of breath from walking and you have trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time, I will laugh. Sure some people can socially do pot and still lead a successful life, but the vast majority of you end up retarded burnouts working at the 7/11 and living in mom's basement.

Well, technically it isn't. The reason it is said to be a gateway drug is because of the lifestyle of the people surrounding it. There is no physical link between smoking pot and doing hard drugs...
Yes there is no physical link, let me share with you all the reason that pot IS a gateway drug.
Think of it this way. A girl or guy loses their virginity. Now that they have gone over that first hill of having sex for the first time they realise that sex isnt that big of deal as its made out to be. so they do it more and more and start trying new positions, and eventually they are left with a sore ass. Even though there is no PHYSICAL evidence that sex is a gateway to new positions its human nature that if you "try" something for the first time, you are likely to "try" other things for the first time.
Same thing with pot, once you smoke it and realise that its not that big of deal you look for the next way to get high, although there is no physical evidence, human nature is all the evidence you need.

Anyway salvia is cool if your into it and hav drawn to the conclusion you cantbe satisfied with a normal high or buzz. and that you cant have fun without being intoxicated.

drinking is more social and socially excepted then pot because its a drink and makes people feel better cause they arent smoking anything rather then just replenishing their thirst a dfferent way ;)

I think you can tell who's in this thread to experess their opinion and those who are out to shove their opinion down everyone's throat. Personally I think this is one of the better debates and conversations we've had in a long time where people are sharing experiances, thoughts, and beliefs without use having to shut it down due to outright slander on another member or 50 F bombs being dropped in one post. If you can't agree with what other have to say, just realize that it's their right ot have that opinion and it's your right to have yours. One or the other does not make you retarded.

On that note, I have only tried pot once and that was due to my college roomate being a fucking dealer. I'm glad I never got started on that cause I feel smoking legal shit did enough damage to me over 10+ years. I know a few people that have smoked pot for some time and never touched anything else, and those who have tried just about everything. I don't pass judgement either way as people will be people and there's no way around that. I'd never try this Salvia stuff, just no desire to.

Pot is a gateway drug for some people, just because it is about as low in chain as you can start. If there wasn't pot, then something like acid, shrooms, or whatever would the gateway drug. Some people just can't control themselves though, it wouldn't matter if pot existed or not, they would be on meth or oxy regardless.

It's like calling 16Gs a gateway turbo, they were for a lot of us, but nowdays people are skipping right to 61mm turbos and wanting to go up from there. :) While some people can keep their speed habit under control and stay with a 16G for years.

I don't think bums drink instead of smoke pot because of cost. Pot isn't expensive. $100 worth of pot can last a long ass time. Alcohol is pretty expensive, unless you are drinking Boone's Farm and alcohol and pot are somewhat opposite types of stimulants.

Alcohol and cigarrettes are as much of a drug as anything else. They kill people using them and often end up killing people who don't use them indirectly. But they are already big business and legal, so they aren't considered taboo by our society.
