have new tires but no way to mount them

Can anyone mount tires for cheap in the Saint Paul area? My friend could have done it but he's waiting on a part and my tire blew today. As some of you know it got stolen sunday. If anyone knows someone who could help me out please let me know.

Thanks

Don't know anyone in the Saint Paul area, but there's a guy who sells tires & rims and mounts them damn cheap. The shop's called "tires for less" and is in Fridley. Talk to Haythem or Naoufel - tell them RK sent you. They'll do it cheap. I've had real good luck with this shop.

Norm's Tires is a good place to go. I believe they are in Little Canada. I don't know how cheap they will be, but they do good work. If I lived in St. Paul, thats where I'd go.

have fun,
Curt

Look at Tirerack's recomended installers, all those shops have quality equipment and list their prices right online. Otherwise, just go to your local gas-station garage, Tires Plus, Firestone, Sears Automotive, etc.

Re: have new tires but no way to mount them

I worked at tires plus for a number of years...I'd do it for ya. I also work currently at saturn, and MIGHT be able to find time to mount them, but I dunno. the machine we have is sorta "crude", as it doesn't have the rubber/plastic heads that won't scratch the rim. I have a few tricks to get around that, but i'd hafta see..I don't wanna get into trouble for doing something like this on the side..it would hafta be on my day off...

That would be sweet I'd pay you to do it if you could. The tires were delivered today, they're 225/45/17's. Let me know when and where or pm me and i'll let you know when i can do it.
