Just called 911
Was just getting ready to go to sleep, had the window open and just turned the tv off.
All of a sudden I hear this really loud braking sounds and then BANG! Exactly like 2 cars just smacked together. Knowing that someone probably just had an accident I called 911 and said "I think an accident just happened". The operator said "you think". I said "yeah, I heard a loud braking and crash in the house from an open window at an intersection about 200 feet away.". Gave her the location and then jumped in the almight 1.8 to see if anyone was hurt and if I could help in any way. There was like 40 people already standing around. I was like wtf. There's never anyone around here this time of night. I looks like a car was driving down 101 at normal speeds when a truck pulled out in front of her and they hit basically head on. The truckw as fine and moveable. The car was 100% totaled. air bags went off and the front end was pushed back several feet.
Cops showed up about 5 min later, we all where told to leave since no one was hurt.
What a night! Time for sleep!

Re: Just called 911
Speaking of trucks vs car crashes, i went to my buddies house today, and I noticed there were a few firetrucks, and a bunch of police cars about a half a block away from his house, so me and my buddy had to go take a gander at what happened, I looked and I saw about 4 wheels, a transmission, exhaust, gas tank, and some suspension components, all in their normal places still bolted onto the truck, nothing out of the ordinary...............................oh wait, im not underneith this truck!!!!
the damn thing was laying on its side! and the little car that crashed into it was fine!
so far:
Trucks: 1
Cars: 1

How is this stupid? It's in Off Topic & was showing a good deed done.... Apparently you wouldn't know a good deed if it hit you in the face.
*off my bitching stand*
I also had to call 911 this morning. On my way into work, the traffic was slowing down & a dumbass was following too close & hit a van in front of him in the left corner causes the van to spin out & slide into my lane right in front of me. Thank God I'm a good driver & was going slow enough I was able to stop and not hit the van. So I noticed the guy behind me stopped as well & he got out to check on the people so I pulled over & called 911 to report it.
There's my good deed for the day.
