well here is my dilema. I can't get more than 34# of air thru my system.

I don't know if it is my IC piping 2 1/4 or the throtle body or the turbo.

There is no boost leaks. and full boost kicks in at about 4100 on a 50 trim.

any suggestions?

attached 3rd gear and 4th gear pull... as you can see no knock

What's your "full boost" at?

Oh, and do you have an internal or external wastegate? Are you sure it's not leaking?

here is the log file..

download the http://www.dsmlink.com/dsmx.exe software...

i wish i could log boost as well, i think i'd need to get a special gauge to let me do that.. i will look into it..

but full 20 psi i get at about 4100 i beleive.

I have external gate, and it is leaking very very litle by the gasket before the wg and its routed back into the dowpipe.

log file atached..

enes give us a list of your complete Set up. That'll help if there's any bottle necks in the system.

Something does sound off, my 50 trim spooled 400 rpm sooner last year.

If you can feel it leak at idle, it's probably leaking a lot more at WOT. If you're using the gasket that came with it you might want to try getting rid of it and using RTV or just nothing.

Also did you install the valve seat ring with the wastegate? It looks like you did because mine spooled even worse then that without it.

Did you hook up the MBC to the lower nipple on the wastegate and leave the top open?

On the other hand if you're hitting 20 psi something else may be your problem.

If I remember correctly with DSMLink all you have to do is buy a GM 3 Bar MAP sensor and wire it into your stock one and it should just meter boost through it. The stock one should allow you to log boost, but only to an extent due to Mitsu thinking we weren't going to run more than 8 psi.

But yeah, that thing is spooling pretty slow, I would look at anything that is letting exhaust out before the WG.

4100 in 3rd or 4th? 4100 would be fine for 3rd gear and a little slow for 4th.

Get some cams, 1g throttle body, sheetmetal intake and turn up the boost.

Even at the same 20psi boost level, some cams and sheetmetal woudl probably make the lb/min go upward from 6600RPMs to revlimiter instead of leveling out.

that would be in 3rd for 4100 ... 4th is around 3800 or so.
I have 1g throtle body and 1g intake, i supose i could put that on there without any transitions or anything but that would introduce a lot of turbulances where head and intake mani meet.

I think i will wait until Mike makes that sheet metal one that will match up with 1g throtle body or bigger..

Buy my new Venom SMI. It will help you a lot top end. With my 20g stock intake mani and TB like you, power dropped off like crazy after hitting a peak power level at 5500 rpm. It was about 100hp according to the gtec which seemed pretty accurate on my car.

try to send over more than rpm, airflow in grams, and o2. From the log I just looked at it looks fine. You might have a clog in they system. How much boost?

Airflow should continue climbing with RPM, your max airflow should be at your max RPM as far as I know, so I would venture to guess something isn't right, but as far as what that is I have no ideas...

Your correct unless.
1) not enough boost, the motor is 'consuming' all the airflow it can from an earlier rpm.
2) he has a major clog not allowing it to rise.

well i will take that damn mouse from the IC piping.. i tought i'd give it a nice warm home before teh IC.. i guess i can't charge him rent no more now..

shit..

well.. i guess i'll just wait for mike to get me the lower IC pipe done. Once i start loging boost as well i will be able to tell more.

and then i will raise boost and see the comparison..

Does anyone have a intake that is 3" and to the 2g maf ... i wana check if it could be my maft.
